Bell Path pricing

Founding schools shape Bell Path first. Verified school-size pricing follows.

The first 20 schools join a controlled rollout with closer support, direct feedback loops, and a clear role in shaping the product. The price is simple during that rollout, then standard pricing scales with verified school size.

Decision pack

What you can approve today.

The price, refund, data, subprocessor, retention, and sign-off facts a school leader needs in one place — all read from the same files the legal pages use.

Price today
Founding schools help shape Bell Path during a controlled rollout. The first five pilot schools get year one complimentary, then $1,000/year for two more years. Schools 6-20 join for one product-shaping year at $1,000. After that, standard size tiers run from $679 to $12,599 per year based on verified enrolment.
Trial & guarantee
Full refund within 30 days. Pro-rated review days 31-90. Bell Path also reviews requests under the Term 1 timetable-fit money-back guarantee even if outside the first 30 days.

  • Student-related records where a school uses relevant features, including student names, year levels, funded minutes, education support assignments, and support notes.
  • Daily cover, absence planning, CRT contact, yard duty, wet day, event timetable, and operational handover records where those features are used.
  • Support requests, issue context, screenshots, and debug exports if provided by a user.
  • Identifiable internal analytics linked to school and user accounts for workflow support and product improvement.

The rollout ladder

Three phases. Early schools help shape the product.

  1. Pilot

    Pilot schools

    Schools 1-5

Invitation-only schools help shape the product with close support. Year one is complimentary, then years two and three are $1,000 per year before regular verified-size pricing starts.

  2. Founding

    Founding schools

    Schools 6-20

Schools 6-20 join as product-shaping partners for one paid year at $1,000, then move to the regular verified-size price.

  3. Standard

    Standard schools

    Schools 21 +

Regular Bell Path pricing from the start once the first 20 schools have joined.

The numbers

Product-shaping access during the rollout. Size-based pricing afterwards.

Founding schools are not a discount cohort. They are the schools helping Bell Path prove the workflow, improve the product, and build the evidence other schools will need. Standard pricing is based on declared enrolment, checked against the class and billing staff counts entered in the wizard.

Annual

Best-value yearly price. One invoice for each paid year.

Termly

A separate pay-by-term convenience plan — four payments add up to a higher total than the annual price, not the annual price divided by four.

Bell Path uses the highest tier implied by enrolment, classes, or billing staff. Staff guardrail means teaching, leadership, specialist, and administrative staff who need to be represented in the timetable or Bell Path workspace. Education support/aide staff are not counted for base pricing.

Procurement framing

Easier to justify in a school budget meeting.

Annual value-for-money wording

The standard table can be read as an annual school subscription rather than a per-user add-on. A 300-student school sits at roughly $5 per student per year; a 600-student school sits at roughly $6 per student per year.

Finance-friendly invoicing

The annual plan keeps the cleanest finance trail. Termly billing exists for schools that need smaller payments, but four termly payments cost more than the annual plan.

No hidden implementation fee

The public price includes the Bell Path workspace, setup workflow, exports, support form, and operational modules listed below. Any special migration, data residency, or written service commitment needs to be agreed separately.

What happens after you choose Start

Start creates the school workspace. No payment is taken in this step.

  1. Step 1

    Create the school workspace

You add your email, a password, and choose your school. No payment details are collected at this step.

  2. Step 2

Walk through setup before any commitment

You can build classes, staff, and meetings inside the wizard to confirm Bell Path is the right fit. Nothing is charged while you set up.

  3. Step 3

Invite finance, then start billing when ready

From Settings → Billing you can invite the business manager, generate a Stripe-hosted invoice or PO, and only start the paid plan when the principal approves.

Cancellations and refunds follow the money-back guarantee shown below. You can contact Bell Path before reaching the checkout if you'd rather review billing first.

Included

Same product. Verified tiers.

Bell Path is a single product. Every school gets the same feature set. The price changes only because larger schools create more timetabling work and receive more operating funding.

  • Timetable generation with APT, meeting, and room constraints
  • Teacher, class, room, and summary timetables generated together
  • Validation, conflict visibility, and saved versions
  • Daily cover, yard duty, and wet day planning in the same workspace
  • Downloadable teacher, class, and principal PDF versions you can email to staff
  • Stripe-hosted checkout with invoice records for finance
  • Manual refund support under the Bell Path money-back guarantee

What stays true

The billing flow should feel administrative, not theatrical.

Payment methods

Stripe presents Credit card, Debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link and any other enabled methods where supported.

Invoice-ready records

Billing emails and payment documents can go to the school’s finance inbox, separate from the operational login.

Money-back guarantee

Refund requests are handled manually by Bell Path support: full refund within 30 days, pro-rated review from days 31-90, and full review if Bell Path does not work for the school’s Term 1 timetable.

Verified tier fit

Bell Path checks enrolment, classes, and staff before generation. One legal school cannot split itself across accounts to combine lower tiers.

Final step

Create the school workspace. Bell Path verifies the pricing path.

Pilot invitations, founding school access, and standard size tiers all sit against the school record inside Bell Path. The wizard data keeps the checkout tier clear, auditable, and hard to misuse.

Start creates the workspace and opens the wizard. No payment is taken in this step.
