In the Northern Territory, the planning entitlement for primary teachers changes from year to year. Under the NT Public Sector Educators 2024-2027 Enterprise Agreement, non-contact time steps up during the agreement and reaches four and a half hours a week from the start of 2027. A timetable that comfortably met the entitlement one year can fall short the next without anybody changing a thing.
