Running the week

Running a wet day

How to run a wet day. Declare it and the outdoor roster converts to indoor supervision on the same screen.

On the day

  1. 01Declare the wet day for the breaks affected.
  2. 02Bell Path converts the outdoor duty roster into indoor supervision assignments.
  3. 03Adjust where a particular space needs different cover.
  4. 04Publish so staff see it in their own view before the bell.

Why it is more than a different roster

Indoor supervision usually needs more people than outdoor duty, because students are spread across rooms rather than gathered in a yard. Building it from the existing roster rather than from scratch means the fairness record keeps counting, instead of the same few people absorbing every wet day.

Tell us where the step stopped making sense.

If the next action was not obvious, that is a flaw in Bell Path rather than in you, and knowing exactly where it happened is the most useful thing you can send us.
